At Convex, emails are mission-critical. We send security-sensitive emails for account validation and team invites, notification emails for breaking deployment changes, marketing emails for product updates, and billing alerts.
We've been Resend fans for a long time, wanting to migrate to design cleaner email templates with React Email. We started using Resend in production in April 2026, first for occasional transactional emails.
Our full move to Resend was accelerated by an incident with our previous provider. We started migrating on August 16 and deployed to production just 3 days later. Today, even our billing emails are sent with Resend.
From start to finish, the developer experience has been excellent.
For example, React Email finally gave us modern DX for email, complete with linting and spam advice tooling. The Convex Resend component transformed our email workflow. Being able to queue emails from a Convex project without worrying about errors and retries is a fantastic developer experience now shared by many of our customers.
At the root of our trust is the stability Resend gives us. The experience has been great the whole time. To us, Resend is sending emails, "but It Just Works."
